| GROUND BREAKING/OPENING CEREMONY
|
| Construction of the club house and show house began in early August and is progressing well, the
estimated date of completion is within the second week of next month, October 2019. We
experienced a 2-week delay in the shipment and customs clearance of the imported pre-cast panels
from Europe but the contractors are continuing to work towards keeping this timeline unaltered.
The official opening of the show house will precede the highly anticipated official ground-breaking
ceremony of the Habitat Heights project by a few weeks. Dates shall be communicated to members
once arrangements for the occasion are finalized. |

| REAL ESTATE EXCELLENCE AWARD
|
| The Society took part in the 2019 Real Estate Excellence awards that were held in August. The
Awards recognizes and celebrate the key players in the sector who have achieved outstanding
results and positively impacted their clients.
HHCSL was nominated for “Best Housing Cooperative in Real Estate Investments” and scoped the
Runner Up position. The gala was attended by the region’s top players in the real estate and finance
industry. It was a great acknowledgement as well as a key indication that the Society is gaining
visibility. |

| BALLOTING
|
| In the interest of members, balloting is set to take place as soon as the architectural model of
Habitat Heights has arrived. The Society has put in place processes to ensure members have as much
information on the location of units to allow them to make informed decision while selecting their
units.
All fully paid up members will receive their ballot number from the secretariat. The Selection of units
shall be Phase 1 to Phase 7. |

| SUB AGENT
|
| All HHCSL Members are invited to register as sales sub-agents with the Society by sending an expression of interest to the secretariat via Email with your full names as registered with the Society and preferred mobile registration number. Only one number can be registered in the sales agent portal.
The members preferred telephone number is the Unique Sales Agent ID number. This Unique ID number, preferred telephone number, is to be shared by the agent with prospective buyers once the prospective buyer downloads the Habitat Heights App. The aim of the Unique ID is to aid in tracking of sales and in paying of commissions. The sales portal will be maintained and run by AFRA’s technical department. |

| NEW MEMBERS
|
The Society is growing, and we welcome new members willing to join. Some of the immediate
benefits of membership to HHCSL are:-
Eligibility to become a sales sub-agent and earn 5.5% commission less administrative fees
- Eligibility to buy shares from existing members
Requirements:
- Fully signed membership application form with Non-refundable fee of 1,000/- Ksh
- Initial share capital of 50,000/- Ksh
- Monthly subscription of 1000/- Ksh

| FINES AND PENALTIES
|
| 20% per annum charge is now in full effect on all outstanding member balances.
Members are reminded to ensure to clear all balances and monthly subscriptions in order to be
eligible for balloting, and to avoid incurring high penalty fees.
